• 3-DAY INTRO TO LIBERTY CLINIC

Date: Dec 3-5, 2025

Info: Dan has dedicated his career to helping people with no Liberty experience get started and teaching those with a foundation how to accomplish advanced maneuvers.

If you’ve:

• ever wanted to learn Liberty but didn’t know where to start
• started your horse at Liberty but don’t know how to progress
• are looking to take your Liberty to the next level…

Then this clinic is for you! In 3 days you will learn how to start a horse at Liberty, watch experienced Liberty horses learn new tricks, get answers to your questions and leave with a step by step plan of what to do once you’re back home. You don’t want to miss it!

Auditors welcome.

Participant = $850 (includes breakfast, lunch, one extra auditing pass, and three full days of learning)

Auditor = $100/ 3 days or $50/day

• Foundation Focused Clinic with Dan James

  Location: Southern Sky Stables, Mooresville, NC 

  Info: Whether you’re bringing home a new horse, developing a young one, or refining a seasoned partner, this three-day Foundation Focused Clinic is designed to help you and your horse build the groundwork for long-term success, on the ground and under saddle.

  Led by internationally recognized horseman Dan James of Double Dan Horsemanship, the clinic follows a progressive structure centered on trust, communication, and correct movement. You’ll gain hands-on experience in the same exercises Dan uses with every horse he starts.

  Day 1 & 2: Ground Control
  Learn how to gain respect and responsiveness on the ground through Double Dan Horsemanship’s proven Ground Control exercises. You’ll develop softness in the halter, improve body control, and learn to communicate effectively using accurate cues.

  Day 3: Ridden Work
  Bring it all together under saddle. Dan will guide you through key exercises that translate your groundwork into the ride, creating softness, confidence, and better communication between horse and rider.
